Claude Caron

I am the father of five (5) children, three (3) boys and two (2) girls whom were all students of L’eau Vivre School when it was in the public system. The reform of confessional schools in the province of Quebec was a great challenge for us as the first public school was to disappear. With joy and with the infinite grace of God, our school survived due to the faith and engagement of parents and students who believed in it. Amongst these parents there was a young women, for whom I am privileged to be pastor of, who became the principal of the school now within the private sector. It is therefore with interest that we have followed the development of this school project.

My son was able to graduate at the end of its first year of operation and presently our daughters are active students. The oldest will graduate this year. We therefore believe in Christian schools with all of our hearts. We thank the Lord for the devotion of the teaching and support staffs, the brotherhood love and the spiritual blooming of our children. Besides an excellent quality of academic teaching, they have the opportunity to develop profound friendships with the teachers and students. The school enables them to also express themselves and develop their talents within the different school activities.

We bless our God for this Christian school in the city of Quebec and we wish this same grace for the Montreal region. May God be with you in the work of your foundation.

Alain Drapeau,

I am the father of two wonderful girls who presently attend l’Eau-Vive (Living Waters) school in the Quebec city region.

As a Christian, I wanted my children to be educated in the Evangelical Christian tradition. The Lord permitted that a private confessional school be founded and grow through the years being a living testimony of God’s infinite grace here in the Quebec city region.

Several years ago, I was worried about the fact that my girls would have to attend a public school. What a blessing that today, both girls attend a school where the values are based on God’s Word, a school where the teachers are concerned with the development and success of each student, a school that has been able to build, in the heart of each student, a sense of belonging, a school where it is fun to live and learn, a school where the children are involved, respected, encouraged and stimulated. If I had one wish for you, brothers and sisters in the Montreal region, it would be that you would be able to benefit, in the near future, of this same privilege for your children as we have here in Quebec city. Our prayers are with you in each and every step that you will take to bring about this project of opening a Christian school in your area.

Anne-Claire Charette Freake,

My name is Anne-Claire and in my opinion, the name of your Foundation – “To Live a Heritage” – is very meaningful for me, since my father teaches in a Christian school, I attended a Christian school and now my son attends a Christian school.

My husband and I are pastors of a church in Quebec city. We serve the Lord with all of our hearts and encourage our two children, Joshua, 5 years old, and Laura Anne, 2 years old, to love the Lord with all their hearts. As a result, our son Joshua demonstrates great enthusiasm concerning his love for the Lord. His passion and the joy he shares with all around him are two things that are so precious to us. We know that Christian school is the only appropriate place for him, where he will be able to develop his entire potential and feel free to express his love for Jesus. The support and the quality teaching that he receives are priceless!

Every day, I thank God for the privilege of being able to send my son to such a school. I am thankful for the teachers and other members of the personnel who carry out such an important ministry to our children.

L’Eau-Vive (Living Waters) school is a tool in God’s hands that contributes to conserving our Christian heritage in the growing generation. I strongly encourage the project for a Christian school on the South Shore of Montreal. May God bless your vision!

Annie Veilleux,

Our son has just begun his first year of school, and is in Kindergarten. We are so happy to be able to benefit from the presence of a Christian school nearby. Had we not had this choice, we would have opted for home schooling since we decided never to send our son to a public school where violence, Halloween and all the things surrounding the occult are continually presented to the children. We believe that the choice of a school is an extremely important decision, considering the amount of time our children spends there. School should be a continuation of the parental education that a child receives; its formative impact has a great influence in his life.

Eau-Vive (Living Waters) is a Christian school where love and respect are evident with regards to the teachers and the students and especially among the staff. The school’s discipline is inspired by the Bible and everyone’s dedication is evident. The students are not perfect, yet when they do something wrong, there is a consequence and they are encouraged in various ways to do better. So far, we are very happy to have chosen Eau-Vive, and our son is happy to attend as well. Another positive aspect is the small size of the school because it facilitated our son’s transition; the children get to know each other more quickly than in a school where each student is on his own. Another advantage is having the high school in the same building as the elementary school. It allows an older student to help the younger ones by helping them academically and by giving them music lessons or simply consoling a smaller child who hurts himself. Thank you Lord for having provided this school and continue to protect it!
